FedEx Roxo™

In the battle to win the last mile, I helped prototype and innovate autonomous delivery. Truly a project where experience design meets digital design meets service design meets brand design. Through a journey of low to high fidelity staged prototypes, we created a holistic experience for users to immerse themselves while we observed. We collected insights on behavior, societal acceptance, brand trust that fed into the creation of digital and analog interactions, product naming and industrial design.

Together with the consumer research, we built a closed road course for Roxo to simulate deliveries and capabilities for future retail partners. The insight driven designs led to the first pilot with real customers and retail partners, paving the way for regulatory considerations and prioritization of features for scaling the effort.
