Wether it’s opening someone’s door or helping clear a plate. It’s good to help someone be more comfortable than you. It’s not too different from giving someone what they need to grow and prosper.
Learn Through Play.
The biggest tool we have as humans is learning to play. You learned how to do it early. It taught you to use your instincts, wit and creativity in the context of a real live sandbox. Don’t forget.
Slay the invisible.
There’s always a force applying resistance to another force. For creativity, it’s an internal voice within us all that desperately whispers, cries, and sometime shouts—doubt, fear, shame and excuses. Don’t believe me? See. They’re too easy to conjur.
Mindfully Forget.
A short-term memory is one key to staying optimistic. To iterate, iterate, iterate, you have to remember the good, evolve it, and leave the baggage in the ether.
Be Curious.
Listen, hear, and understand. And when you don’t understand, seek it. All we know is that we don’t know what we don’t know. You never know what you’ll find once you start turning over rocks.
